Description
How the technology works
The outdoor unit draws energy from the air to deliver heating, cooling and domestic hot water. It harvests up to 75 % of the ambient energy, with electricity covering the remainder. A compressor and refrigerant allow the air-to-water heat pump to transfer this energy to the water, which is then heated and circulated throughout the home as required.
Low-temperature solution
Designed for new-build properties, low-temperature heat pumps pair perfectly with under-floor heating or low-temperature radiators, ensuring optimum comfort at lower water temperatures than traditional radiators.
Refrigerant-based system
Split heat pumps consist of an outdoor air-handling unit and an indoor control unit. Connecting them via refrigerant piping minimises heat losses while distributing energy inside the dwelling.
